Murrieta Jr. All American Football & Cheer is part of the Southern California Jr. All American Football Conference. It is a youth football league that is age & weight oriented. Players will be placed on teams based on their age & weight.
Divisions within the Murrieta Jr. All American Chapter are listed in the 2021 Age/Weight Chart
Flag: Ages 4, 5, & 6
Tackle: Ages 6-14
6 year old players have the option to play Tackle as Unlimited Weight players. Final decision will be made by Parent, AD, and Commissioner.
Per the 2021 Tackle Weight/Age Chart: 6 YEAR OLD JR. MICRO WEIGHT IS UNLIMITED and MIDGET 11-14 YEAR OLD UNLIMITED.
Any player weighing 5% or more over the maximum CERTIFICATION weight for a division at time of official physical examination will be assigned to the next higher division (unless age does not permit).
Certified weights are without helmet, shoulder pads or shoes/cleats.
To scrimmage, players cannot weigh more than 5 pounds of the maximum Certification weight as shown above.
No player, prior to certification, shall be allowed to participate in contact (hitting) if weighing 10 lbs. or more than the maximum certification weight.
We will not accept any physical that DOES NOT have the Doctor's stamp.
No player is allowed to participate in MJAAF without having a current physical on file. Physicals done by a Chiropractor or Registered Nurse will not be accepted!
All athletes are required to complete 10 hours of conditioning prior to practicing in full pads. If your child missed a day of conditioning they will be required to make up the time.
Athletes who need their helmets painted or reconditioned for the 2020 season can contact Continental Athletic Supply directly.
